The Korea Exchange (KRX) has amended the listing eligibility review guideline in order to reinforce its proactive support for the companies to be listed on the (Korea Composite Stock Price Index) KOSPI market and turn its listing eligibility review system into a customer-oriented scheme by having in place the objective qualitative listing eligibility review criteria. The guidelines were implemented on 23rd January 2015.
The amendments include the following areas:
- Stronger Cooperation (e.g. advice provided by the Exchange at the stage of listing preparation)
- Detailed Specification of the Listing Eligibility Review Criteria, Compulsory Provisions on Requirements and De-duplication of Provisions
- Clarification of the Ground for Listing Applicant to Express Opinions
- Grounds for Improved/Complemented Matters Considered for Listing Eligibility Review and Ex Post Facto Management
- Grounds for Restricting the Listing of Specific Business Sectors and for Reviewing the Possibility of Securing Liquidity
