ITALY: CONSOB makes available new system for net short position reporting

The Italian financial regulator, Consob, has issued a notice confirming the introduction of the new system for reporting net short positions from Tuesday 13 December 2016.

Positions reported through the old system have been migrated by Consob to the new system. Users are able to access the new system and report net short positions with their current username and password.

Consob has additionally stated that it may not be possible to make changes to static data (i.e. name of Position Holder, name of contact person, etc) for a number of days after 13 December.
