ITALY: Consob introduce Italy short-selling disclosure

Consob is to introduce Italy short selling, the Italian market regulator, has announced new requirements on the disclosure of short positions. Under these new requirement investors must report when short positions on Italian stocks amount to 0.2% or more of a companies share capital, and any subsequent variation of 0.1% of the share capital. The new requirements will remain in force until 9 September.
