ITALY: Amendments to the Instructions on Market Regulation Organised and Managed by Borsa Italiana Spa&nbsp

The National Commission for Companies and Stock Exchanges (Consob) has issued its authorisation for amendments to the instructions on market regulation organised and managed by Borsa Italiana SpA, approved by the Exchange on 22 July, 2016.

The amendments concern the IDEM market (Italian Derivatives Market) and provide for the introduction of European type option contracts on shares with cash settlement and with settlement by delivery of the asset and review of the operating methods of the options on the FTSE MIB indices.

The amendments were in relation to articles IA.9.1.6, IA.9.1.7, IA.9.1.8, IA.9.1.9, IA.9.1.13 and IA.9.1.14.
