On 1st March 2018, the Irish Stock Exchange (ISE) had to shorten its normal trading schedule. The ISE closed trading at the earlier time of 12:00pm (Irish time).
The reason for this change was due to severe weather conditions which occured across the nation. The decision to shorten the trading schedule was taken to protect against any potential risk to market integrity.
The ISE also confirmed that it would be closed for on 2nd March 2018 due to this ongoing weather disruption. The Exchange will reopen for trading on Monday 5th March 2018, trading will resume on the normal trading schedule on this date.
