The Irish Funds Industry Association (IFIA) has today published its latest edition of the IFIA industry newsletter.
Amongst other covered issues, the 25 page document provides an overview of Ireland as a funds domicile and provides a regulatory update which covers new MiFID developments, the new fast track approval process for promoters as well as side pockets and QIF’s. It further provides a detailed summary of the newly implemented Eligible Assets Directive and the evolution of the UCITS product.
The newsletter concludes with a look into the Irish funds industries statistics as well as the presence of Irish funds outside the European Union.
