Further to the update of 4th December 2014, Singapore Exchange (SGX) and Japan Exchange Group (JPX) have launched the JPX-SGX Co-Location Direct Service.

The JPX-SGX Co-Location Direct Service was established following a Letter of Intent (LOI) which was signed by JPX and SGX in December 2014. It will offer the following benefits to global investors seeking to trade in both markets:

  • Straight-through international network connectivity between SGX and JPX;
  • Cost-efficiency;
  • Low latency market access;
  • greater risk management;
  • Increased opportunities through mutually listed derivatives products and services.

The Co-Location Direct Service is due to commence in April 2015.
