On 1st March 2018, the Regional Council of Savings Public and Financial Markets (CREPMF) met to discuss reforms (translated from French) made to certain African Financial Markets.

Measures discussed during this meeting concerned market governance, strengthening the investor protection and the attractiveness of the market. Established in 1996 , CREPMF is an organ of the West African Monetary Union (WAMU)  (Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte Ivory Coast, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Niger, Senegal and Togo).
