On 13th May 2017, the China Securities Regulatory Commission and Superintendence of Securities and Insurance of Chile signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) regarding Cooperation on Securities Regulation.
The MOU signed between the two regulators will enhance cooperation in the field of securities market regulation in both jurisdictions, and propel the cooperation between the two regulators into a new phase.
CSRC has been actively involved in regulatory information exchange and cross-border enforcement cooperation with its overseas counterparts since its establishment in October 1992. So far, CSRC has signed 65 MOUs with securities and/or futures regulators from 60 jurisdictions.
