The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has permitted India Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) to invest in ’To be listed’ corporate bonds as long as the listing is committed to be actioned within 15 days of investment. If the listing is not made within 15 days of issuance to the FII, the FII must dispose of the bonds by sale to a third party or to the issuer.
