The Securities and Exchange Board of India has announced an amendment to the India foreign investment framework.

The investment limit by Foreign Institutional Investors and Qualified Foreign Investors in commercial papers has been reduced from the overall USD3.5bn limit to USD2bn, within the corporate debt limit of USD51bn.
