The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) have announced the Securities and Futures (OTC Derivative Transactions – Reporting and Record Keeping Obligations) Rules have entered into force.
In order to assist Authorized Institutions’ understanding of the reporting and record keeping requirements, HKMA have published FAQs in respect of the Reporting Rules. In addition, the directions and instructions for use of the electronic reporting system and the submission of transaction information under the Reporting Rules issued by the HKMA have been addressed.
