The Chief Executive of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Ltd (HKEx) has announced that HKEx will consider expanding the daily quotas. On a number of occasions the Southbound quota has been fully used up before the market closed, this has caused Mainland investors from getting into the market when they wanted to.
Regulators are closely and cautiously monitoring market developments and will consider expanding the quotas at the appropriate time.
