The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited has today announced that with effect from 5 August 2009 (Wednesday), 49 additional securities will be eligible for Hong Kong short selling and 16 existing designated securities will be removed from the list. The total number of designated securities for short selling will be 396 after the revision.
