The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (HKEx) has announced that with effect from 14th March 2017, 16 new securities will be added to the list of designated securities eligible for short selling.

The securities added have stock codes 7200, 7205, 7221, 7228, 7230, 7231, 7267, 7288, 7300, 7312, 7321, 7328, 7336, 7341, 7362 and 7388

The total number of stocks eligible for short selling after the effective date will be 937.
