In January 2016, Financier Worldwide published a briefing on the impact of the amended EU Transparency Directive; in comparison to the previously similar German notification regime. This includes the obligatory notification of any direct holdings in shares or indirect holdings in shares held through financial instruments or the aggregate positions of the aforementioned, when they reach, exceed or fall below a reportable threshold.
