On 21st March 2018, Deutsche Börse faced “serious issues” which delayed the opening of equities and futures trading. The group said in an update to traders that the delay was caused due to a technical glitch on its Eurex T7 trading system.

The delay meant that that trading opened at 1:30 pm. The Eurex T7 system also caused a trading delay in December 2017.
