The German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) has claimed it will seek to carry out the publication of trades  at a later time than is being proposed by the MIFIR Regulations.

The MFIR Regulations state that details of OTC transactions and transactions concerning financial instruments should be published in real time or as quickly as technically possible.

However, BaFin has grounds to believe that later publication of such trades is possible in certain circumstances, provided this is permitted by the National Supervisory Authority.

Therefore, Bafin has issued three Consultation Paper intended to discuss such issues. Bafin will review all responses submitted before the 14th  November 2017
