EUROPEAN UNION: ESMA Publishes MIFID II Circuit Breaker Compliance Table

The European Securities Markets Authority (ESMA) has published a Guidelines compliance table on the issue of the calibration of circuit breakers and publication of trading halts under MiFID II.

The table gives a comprehensive overview of which Nations currently comply or intend to comply with the MIFID deadline prior to the 3^rd January 2018.

The document is helpful to investors and reassures investors that every EU Member state intends to comply with the MIFID II regulation before it takes effect.
