The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has published an updated list of central clearinghouses (CCPs) which are authorised under the European Markets Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR) and its Public Register for the Clearing Obligation.
Under EMIR, a CCP which has extended its activities is required to seek new authorisation through a competent authority.
