The Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA) has issued new amendments to the Capital Market’s Executive Regulations. The amendments regulate the priority right to subscribe for the capital increase of shares of listed companies and the IPO companies.

Additionally, the amendments introduce a requirement for the approval of EFSA’s Board of Directors when acquiring more than one third of the capital of any brokerage or funds management companies which have a market share that exceeds 10% of the market volume.
