On 11th April 2018, China Securities Regulatory Commission confirmed that it is committed to delivering Shanghai-London Stock Connect, which is a stock connect scheme between the Shanghai Stock Exchange and London Stock Exchange.
If delivered this scheme would deepen financial cooperation between China and the UK, through opening the Chinese capital markets to UK investors.
The CSRC announced that it will work with its UK counterparts to ensure that the Scheme is launched in 2018.
