CHILE: Santiago Stock Exchange Shortens Trading Hours and Makes Holiday Announcement

The Santiago Stock Exchange, has announced that it will be closed for trading from the 31^st March to 1^st April in accordance with the Easter Holidays.

The exchange also confirmed that it will close early on Thursday, March 29^th , 2018 (the day before Good Friday), trading on this day will conclude at 1:30 pm. The Exchange will resume normal trading hours on Tuesday 2^nd April 2018.

In addition the Exchange also announced that it on 12^th March it will amend its trading hours from 9:30 a.m – 5:00 p.m to 9:30 a.m – 4:00 p.m . The Exchange amends its trading hours on a seasonal basis therefore these shortened hours will operate from March to October. The extended trading hours will resume in November and will operate until February 2019.
