The Board of the Stock Exchange of Santiago has agreed changes to the Handbook of Rights and Obligations of Brokers, with a Regulation Circular issued as approved by the Comisión Nacional de Valores.
The main changes relate to the proposals made by the Committee on Best Practices in its document “Standards Prevention and Management of Conflicts of Interest” as approved by the Board meeting of September 29, 2014.
Additionally the Board has built a set of compliance rules mandatory for brokers.
Finally, the modifications considered the provisions of the General Rule No. 380 of the Comisión Nacional de Valores dated March 9 2015, which repealed turn General Character Standards No. 12 and No. 203, as well as Circulars No. 549 and No. 1177 of the Service
