It has been reported that BM&F Bovespa has issued a further delay to its plans to open up its clearing house to competition. In May 2013, the exchange announced that its clearing house would be open from March 2014 for derivatives and by the end of 2014 for equities. However, plans to allow third parties to use the clearing house for derivatives is now expected in August or September 2014 and clearing for equities for third parties is to be introduced from 2015.
