On 24th November 2017, the Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) released a Consultation Document containing proposed changes to its Prospectus Regulation. The changes are being introduced to ensure compliance with the Regulation ( EU) 2017/1129 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 June 2017 which governs Prospectus Requirements.
The new proposals will reform the rules on what a prospectus must contain and how a prospectus is to be submitted.
At present the Consultation is only available in French or Dutch.
The deadline for submissions to the consultation is 5th January 2018.
