AUSTRALIA: List of radio and television broadcasting companies for Australia foreign investment

The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has published a list of radio and television broadcasting companies in Australia. This list can be used in respect of Australian foreign investment sensitive sector rules. Under such rules, all foreign persons, including US and New Zealand investors, need to notify the Government and get prior approval to make investments of 5 per cent or more in the media sector, regardless of the value of the investment.
