On 23 February 2018, the Takeovers Panel released a Consultation Paper seeking public comments on proposed amendments to Guidance Note 17: Rights issues (“GN17”). Comments on the Consultation Paper were due by 6 April 2018.

The Takeovers Panel have now published a response to the public consultation.

Copies of the final GN 17, in clean and in mark-up to show the changes from the draft circulated with the Consultation Paper have been made available on the Takeover Panel’s website.
