The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) have published a consultation paper setting out detailed proposals for the mandatory reporting and related record keeping obligations. A draft of the proposed rules on these obligations is also attached at Appendix A.
The HKMA and SFC welcome comments from market participants and interested parties on the subject consultation.
