HONG KONG: Changes to the List of Eligible Securities for Short Selling

The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (HKEx) has announced that with effect from 12th August 2016, 25 new securities will be added and 32 will be removed from the list of designated securities eligible for short selling. The total number of stocks eligible for Short Selling after this date will be 866.

None of the new securities added, are exempt from the tick rule, which applies to a total of 189 securities on the list.
