FRANCE: AMF Launches Consultation regarding Transposition of AIFMD

The Autorité des marchés financiers has launched a public consultation on changes to the Book III General Regulations transposing the AIFM Directive

In continuation of the work on the transposition of the AIFMD, the AMF launches a public consultation on changes to Book III of the General Regulation of the AMF for Alternative Investment Fund Managers.

Responses to the consultation should be submitted by July 7, 2013 at the following address: directiondelacommunication@amf-france.org

The main changes of Book III are:

• The creation of a chapter devoted to Alternative Investment Fund Management Companies in accordance with the AIFMD;
• The procedure for resignation of the Manager;
• The integration of specific rules for managers in third countries;
• The delegation of the management of the Alternative Investment Fund
• The remuneration policy.
