On 27th April 2018, the European Supervisory Authorities (ESA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the European Free Trade Association Surveillance Authority (EFTA).
This multilateral MOU facilitates co-operation between the ESAs and the EFTA Surveillance Authority in the following areas:
- product intervention
- breaches of European Economic Area law
- action in emergency situations
- mediation and the adoption of specific opinions
