The Federation of European Securities Exchanges (FESE) has published its response to the consultation on the review of the Prospectus Directive.

The response contains FESE’s remarks on the Commission’s assessment on the Prospectus Directive, among which a call to carry our further work to reduce the current divergences in the application of the Directive, and remarks on the changes to the Directive proposed by the Commission.

FESE strongly believes that flexibility should be maintained within the prospectus regime. They stated it is crucial when companies reach a stage in their development at which a public listing becomes an option it is critical that these issuers have options which are tailored to their conditions.
