EUROPEAN UNION: European Parliament Updates Procedure File on UCITS V Legislative Proposals

The European Parliament has updated its procedure file on the UCITS V legislative proposals, which will amend the UCITS IV Directive (2009/65/EC) relating to the depositary function, remuneration policies and sanctions.

The legislative procedure is currently awaiting Parliament’s first reading. There are debates and votes scheduled for 11 and 12 June 2013 and an indicative plenary sitting date, 1st reading/single reading scheduled for 2 July 2013.
