EUROPEAN UNION: Delegated Regulation 2018/1221 Amending Solvency II to Align with Securitisation Regulation Published in OJ

On 10th September 2018, Delegated Regulation (EU) 2018/1221 was published in the Official Journal of the European Union. The Regulations revise the calibrations for securitisation investments by insurance and reinsurance undertakings under Solvency II with regards to the calculation of regulatory capital requirements for securitisations and simple, transparent and standardised securitisations held by insurance and reinsurance undertakings.
