EUROPE: European Commission publishes Draft Directive on Eligible Assets

The European Commission has published a draft Directive on the clarification of definitions related to Eligible Assets for UCITS. This follows upon CESR’s work on Eligible Assets. The draft Directive can be found at the above link. The Commission has also published an explanatory memorandum to accompany the draft Directive.
