EUROPE: EU Commission adopts AIFMD Delegated Regulation on types of alternative investment fund managers

The EU Commission has adopted a Delegated Regulation supplementing the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) with regard to regulatory technical standards determining types of alternative investment fund managers. In particular, the Delegated Regulation determines whether an AIFM is an AIFM of open-ended AIF(s) and/or closed-ended AIF(s).
