EUROPE: ESMA update on AIFMD MoUs signed by EU Authorities

The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has published an updated document outlining the AIFMD Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) signed by EU Authorities.

The memoranda of understanding permit non-EU AIFs to continue to be marketed under existing private placement regimes and also specify what requirements the AIFMs will need to comply with in the relevant country.
