Article 22(4) of the Council Directive 85/611/EEC of 20th December 1985 on the coordination of laws, regulations and administrative provisions relating to undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities (UCITS), as last amended by Directives2001/107/EC and 2001/108/EC (OJ of 13.2.2002, L41, p.20 and p.35), allows Member States to raise investment limits for harmonised investment funds (UCITS) regarding their investment in certain bonds which meet the requirements set out in this provision.
