The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) and The Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA) have signed a cooperation agreement for exchange of regulatory reporting, data and information electronically.
The electronic file-sharing agreement comes within the eagerness of both parties to achieve stability of financial markets also to organise and protect investors` rights. The agreement aims to save time and effort in data transfer and guarantee of confidentiality as well as the completion of the tasks accurately. It also insures the speed of decision-making through-flow automation of reports all within the rules of the Capital Market Law and the exchange of data on transactions and insiders deals of listed companies on a daily basis, financial intermediation, weekly GDRs reports, decisions of the listing committee and membership in EGX.
