The Danish FSA, Finanstilsynet, has issued a reminder to investors of the existing prohibition on short selling of shares of Danish banks. Last week the Danish FSA stated in connection with publication of the prospectus for the share issue by Fjordbank Mors, that it was warning investors against selling bank shares, where delivery depends on a future expectation of allotment of new shares in connection with share issues, as investors risk breaching the ban on short selling Danish bank shares.
