The Danish regulator has published details of its requirements for the reporting of Denmark net short selling positions in shares, which will commence on 1st November. 

Notifications must be made through the Danish FSA Database for company announcements. Danish companies must use a digital signature to submit notifications. Foreign companies and individuals who are not able to receive a digital signature can by contacting the Danish FSA be issued a username and password. Positions will be published on the Danish FSA`s website.

It will be possible to issue a power of attorney to have another person submit a notificaton on short positions. The power of attorney must be registered by the Danish FSA before any notification has to be submitted.
