The Prague Stock Exchange (PSE) has launched a new market called START which is intended for medium-sized Czech companies.
The new START market is intended for smaller Czech joint-stock companies with a total market capitalization (value) over EUR 1 million.
The new market rules and conditions were designed to remove to the maximum extent all the barriers that have not yet enabled small and medium-sized businesses to capitalize on the capital market as a source of funding.
START will be different from the current markets of the Prague Stock Exchange.
Unlike other Markets on PSE, START will have continuous trading and liquidity will be concentrated on auction days, known as START Days.
The minimum traded volumes for START is set at CZK 0.5 million.
