On 2nd June 2017, Shenzhen Securities Exchange published the “Shenzhen Stock Exchange Securities Investment Fund Listing Rules” for consultation. The Listing Rules will strengthen the risk prevention of classification funds and protect the legitimate rights and interests of investors.
The main aims to the Rules are as follows: Firstly, to improve the listing process of the fund and terminate the listing review process. Secondly, to improve the small-scale fund by terminating the listing of relevant arrangements.
Thirdly, the classification of funds is to be set more stringent with additional termination of listing conditions. Where the structure is complex and the risks are high, the fund should be listed in a manner that conforms to the investor’s proper arrangements.
