Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) has implemented changes to its bylaws so it can complete the Management Measures on Stock Exchanges disseminated by the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC).
The SSEs bylaws act as a constitution and serve as the foundation for its self-disciplinary management. The proposed changes focus on strengthening the leadership of the Party and the committees role. Secondly, there is a focus on optimising the structure of its governance and strengthening the overall operation. Also, the basis for its self-disciplinary management should be fortified as well as its frontline regulatory functions.
Additionally, the SSE will, according to the amended “SSE Bylaws”, continuously improve the internal governance, cement the frontline regulation, initiatively assume its duties, and make unremitted efforts to better serve the real economy, control financial risk and propel the market reform.
