It is being reported that, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce and State Administration of Foreign Exchange have taken actions to standardise qualification, examination and approval procedures for China foreign investment companies. The regulations are part of the Notice on Further Improving the Regulatory Measures on China Foreign Institutional Investors issued on 12 December. Under the new measures foreign investment companies will now be labelled as ôInvestment Companiesö in registration forms, and in the Ministry of CommerceÆs approval management system. The Notice also set out that foreign-investment companies will be allowed to use RMB income in China.
