It is being reported that China is set to further open it’s capital markets to China foreign investors. Guo Shuqing, chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, stated that there are plans afoot to raise the QFI quota the yuan-denominated A-shares market. Guo also revealed that there are plans to introduce launch cross-border exchange-traded funds, as well as rolling out more futures products, such as government bonds and silver futures.
