On 8th November 2016, the Investment Industry Regulatory Organisation of Canada (IIROC) announced that due to the potential for increased volatility, IIROC is temporarily modifying its single-stock circuit breaker trigger levels.
The single-stock circuit breaker trigger levels for qualifying securities for November 9, 2016 are as follows:

Trigger level between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. |

Qualifying Security other than a Qualifying Leveraged ETF |
Price change of at least 20% and 40 trading increments in a five-minute period |

Qualifying Leveraged ETF with a 2:1 ratio |
Price change of at least 40% and 80 trading increments in a five-minute period |
The current single-stock circuit breaker trigger levels set out in IIROC Notice 16-0138 will resume on November 10, 2016 at 9:30 a.m.
