Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada has published guidance regarding the expansion of Single-Stock Circuit Breakers.

This Guidance Note provides guidance on the exercise of the existing authority under UMIR to halt trading in a particular security as a result of a single-stock circuit breaker. The Guidance Note provides a broader range of listed securities than those included in the initial implementation phase and expands the time during the trading day when SSCBs operate.
