On 12th August 2013, the Canadian Securities Administrators have provided an update on the transition process to the new CSA National Systems service provider, CGI Information Systems and Management Consultants Inc. (CGI).
On 12 October 2013, CGI will assume responsibility for the hosting, operation and maintenance of the System for Electronic Document Analysis and Retrieval (SEDAR), the System for Electronic Disclosure by Insiders (SEDI) and the National Registration Database (NRD) (collectively, the “CSA National Systems”). The implementation cutover will occur over the weekend of 12 October, during which time the systems will not be available to market participants.
